Review & Description
As with a good recipe, Villeroy & Boch always chooses the best ingredients - top materials, careful manufacturing and expert craftsmanship. Then we add the special touch - design flair and creativity. New Wave exemplifies this philosophy with its contemporary "twist" in styling and squared edges to complement the Metropolitan dinnerware collection. As with all Villeroy & Boch patterns, New Wave is 18/10 stainless, and European-sized for comfort in the hand.A truly unique dinnerware pattern, New Wave is part of Villeroy & Boch's Metropolitan collection. Ultra chic and contemporary, each piece incorporates flowing lines, curving edges, and an exceptionally fun design. Lacking any decorative elements, the milky white china speaks for itself, while also highlighting the food or beverage intended for the individual item. Sharp corners give way to wavy sides that lift and turn like the sea, and many pieces in the line fit together in a complementary fashion.
Stylish and modern, this 5-piece flatware set blends durability with beauty. Slender handles with squared off corners accentuate the contemporary qualities of the New Wave design, while a subtle twist between the handle and business end of each flatware piece creates a feeling of movement. European-sized for added comfort, this place setting includes a dinner knife, dinner fork, dinner spoon, dessert fork, and dessert spoon. Crafted from 18/10 stainless steel, this set is dishwasher-safe, stain resistant, and rust-proof. --Lea Werbel
